Οι Χρυσές Σφαίρες ( Golden Globe Awards) είναι κινηματογραφικά και τηλεοπτικά βραβεία που διοργανώνονται από το 1944 ετησίως στην Αμερική.
Ο φορέας που διοργανώνει την εκδήλωση είναι η Ένωση Ανταποκριτών Ξένου Τύπου (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) του Χόλυγουντ, η οποία αποτελείται από δημοσιογράφους που διαμένουν στο Χόλυγουντ και αρθρογραφούν σε εφημερίδες και περιοδικά εκτός των Η.Π.Α. Είναι τα βραβεία που μαζί με αυτά του Σωματίου των Ηθοποιών (Βραβεία Σωματείου Ηθοποιών) κορυφώνουν το δρόμο προς τα Όσκαρ. Τα βραβεία ξεκίνησαν να μεταδίδονται από το τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο TBS και κατά καιρούς μεταδόθηκαν και από τα τρία μεγάλα τηλεοπτικά δίκτυα των Η.Π.Α. (ABC, CBS, NBC). Μετά το 1996 και την αποκλειστική συνεργασία με το τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο NBC η δημοφιλία τους αυξήθηκε με αποτέλεσμα να είναι αυτή τη στιγμή η τρίτη σε τηλεθέαση απονομή βραβείων πίσω από τα Όσκαρ και τα Γκράμι.
Οι Χρυσές Σφαίρες θεωρούνται από τα πιο σημαντικά κινηματογραφικά βραβεία και αποτελούν μεγάλη διάκριση για τους ηθοποιούς και τις ταινίες που κερδίζουν. Οι μεγάλες κινηματογραφικές εταιρείες παραγωγής χρησιμοποιούν τις υποψηφιότητες και τις διακρίσεις των ταινιών τους στις Χρυσές Σφαίρες στην εμπορική προώθηση των ταινιών.
Η 70η απονομή των Χρυσών Σφαιρών θα μεταδοθεί ζωντανά από τον αμερικανικό τηλεοπτικό σταθμό NBC στις 13 Ιανουαρίου 2013. Οικοδεσπότες της βραδιάς θα είναι για πρώτη φορά οι ηθοποιοί Tina Fey και Amy Pohler.
Το τιμητικό βραβείο συνολικής προσφοράς Cecil B. DeMille θα δοθεί στην Τζόντι Φόστερ.
